Itinerary

    • Arrive in Fairbanks.

    • Welcome dinner, bike orientation, safety briefing, gear check.

    • Overnight in Fairbanks or North Pole.

    • Morning briefing, bike pairing.

    • Ride from North Pole to Tok, covering 200 miles of paved roads.

    • Experience the Tanana River, Delta Junction, Harding/Birch Lake, and the iconic Trans Alaska Pipeline.

    • Overnight at Thompson's Eagle Claw Motorcycle Campground.

    • Head up the Taylor Highway, then across the Top of the World Highway.

    • The highway is so named because, along much of its length, it skirts the crest of the hills, giving looks down on the valleys. It is also one of the most northerly highways in the world at those latitudes.

    • This route crosses the international border between the United States and Canada. Riders are solely responsible for ensuring they have all necessary documents and meet the requirements for entering Canada. Please complete all border crossing preparations before the start of the tour.

    • Retrace your steps along the Top of the World and Taylor Highways.

    • Explore the Pedro Gold Dredge in Chicken, AK.

    • Overnight at Thompson’s Eagle Claw Motorcycle Campground.

    • Ride the Tok Cutoff to Glennallen, with stunning views of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.

    • Optional side trip to Nabesna Road for added adventure.

    • Overnight camping near Glennallen.

    • Journey along the Copper River Highway to Chitina.

    • Continue on McCarthy Road to the historic mining town of McCarthy.

    • Explore the remnants of the Kennicott Copper Mine.

    • Overnight camping in McCarthy.

    • Ride the Richardson Highway through Thompson Pass.

    • Experience the stunning coastal scenery of Valdez.

    • Overnight camping in Valdez.

    • Ride north on the Richardson Highway to Paxson.

      • If you wish to fish, you will need to purchase an Alaska fishing license before we depart for our adventure.

    • Cross the scenic Denali Highway, offering breathtaking vistas.

    • Encounter the Maclaren and Susitna River crossings.
